1 Trading details
1.1 The term ‘Secret Handbag’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website whose business is the supply of ladies handbags and related fashion accessories whose address is 30 Bridge Road, South Cave, Brough, East Yorkshire, HU15 2JE, United Kingdom. 
1.2 The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.
1.3 The use of this website is subject to the following terms of use.  The content of the pages of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice.
1.4 Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose.
1.5 You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.

2 Order Process
2.1 Browse our online store and add any products that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. 
2.2 Once you have finished adding products to the shopping cart click on "Checkout" and complete the order in full. 
2.3 Follow any instructions given on the website.
2.4 Print a copy of your order and/or email order acknowledgement.
2.5 Your goods will be despatched with 24 hours (48 hours during busy periods) and you should receive them according the delivery schedule outlined below.
2.6 If you think your order is delayed please contact us. 
2.6.1 Royal Mail operate a policy that states mail is not lost until 15 working days after date of postage and therefore, we must wait for this period to pass as goods may still be delivered.

3 Delivery
3.1 Your order will be processed and your credit/debit card will be charged if the goods chosen by you are in stock (or available within 7 working days from date of order).  Otherwise you will be given the option to cancel your order.
3.2 Items will be despatched Monday-Friday (excluding weekends and public holidays) within 24 hours or up to 48 hours during busy periods.
3.3 Delivery Schedule & Shipping Costs outlined below:
3.3.1 UK FREE Delivery (3-5 working days approx.)
3.3.2 UK Mainland Standard Delivery £5.00 (2-3 working days approx.)
3.3.3 UK Mainland Next Day Delivery £9.00 (must be ordered by 1pm & excludes the following post codes HS, IV, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE)
3.3.4 Europe Standard Delivery £10.00 (7-10 working days approx.)
3.3.5 Worldwide Standard Delivery £15.00 (7-10 working days approx.)

4 Returns/Refund
4.1 Following a purchase of item(s) from our website (you will have been given a clear description about each item prior to purchase) you are entitled to return for a full refund of the product price.
4.2 If you are unsatisfied for any reason with the item you have purchased you have 7 working days from date of receipt to return the item to us.  This is your right according to the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 where you have a 7 working day cooling off period.  More information about this can be found here http://www.oft.gov.uk/advice_and_resources/resource_base/legal/distance-selling-regulations/
4.2.1 You will not be entitled to a refund if the product you have purchased is personalised, made to measure/order or is perishable.
4.3 Items must be received back at our registered address and will be inspected to ensure that they are unused, not damaged and are fit for resale in the original packaging and are complete with tags.
4.3.1 If items are deemed damaged by us and not fit for resale then we reserve the right to refuse a refund.  If items are fit for sale but not in perfect condition then we reserve the right to give a partial refund less 20% of the original purchase price. 
4.4 Refunds will be processed by crediting the debit or credit card used to make the original purchase within 5 working days but can take up to 28 days to show on your card statement.  No other method will be used. 
4.4.1 A refund will be given for the amount paid for the product only.  Where a shipping charge has been applied to the original order this will not be refunded by us.
4.4.2 To return a product you are responsible for the cost of the postage back to us (we advise that your product is insured in case you need to make a claim against Royal Mail or chosen courier for lost or delayed mail).  As a minimum we advise you obtain proof of postage.   
4.5 All products are guaranteed for 6 months from date of purchase.  If your product becomes faulty within this time period we will refund or exchange.  After 6 months if your item becomes faulty we would deem this to be past a point at which fair wear and tear has been exceeded.

5 Exchange
5.1 If a request for a product exchange is made then you will be charged postage for the item to be sent (unless the original item you ordered was faulty then there will be no charge for shipping).
5.2 Exchanging product for a higher or lower value will mean that we have to charge you for the increased amount or make a partial credit.

6 Price of Goods
6.1 The price of the goods shall be that indicated next to the description/image/illustration of the product unless otherwise confirmed by us in writing.
6.2 The price is inclusive of any Value Added Tax (VAT) charged at the current UK rate of 17.5%

7 Risk and Property
7.1 All goods remain the property of Secret Handbag until paid for in full with cleared funds.
7.2 Risk of damage to or loss of your chosen product(s) shall pass to you the customer on delivery.

8 Force Majeure
8.1 Secret Handbag shall not be held responsible for the non-performance of obligation due to an unexpected event outside of their control.
8.2 The following may be classed as events outside of our control:
8.2.1 War, act of terrorism, labour disputes, compliance with law, order, rule or regulation, fire, flood and storm. 
8.2.2 Breakdown of machinery, failure of computer equipment, default of suppliers/sub-contractors.
8.2.3 The above mentioned events are not exhaustive.

9 Legal
9.1 Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable.  It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.
9.2 This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us.  This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics.  Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice, which forms part of these terms and conditions.
9.3 All trademarks reproduced in this website, which are not the property of, or licensed to the operator, are acknowledged on the website.
9.4 Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.
9.5 From time to time this website may also include links to other websites.  These links are provided for your convenience to provide further information. They do not signify that we endorse the website(s).  We have no responsibility for the content of the linked website(s).
