Key Colour Trends Autumn Winter 2011

As much as I love the summer there is nothing more exciting than the approach of winter which means you can layer up and get right into fashion as well as warmth!!!  Whatever you do go for some opulence and glam up your outfit with over the top jewellery and accessories to make yourself stand out from the crowd.
    
Oranges & Yellows

   Truly fabulous colours that will hang around from summer into the AW
   season!  Oranges and yellows will certainly catch the eye and are the
   perfect colours for accessories especially handbags and shoes.  Wear these
   colours if you want to get noticed!

Jewel Greens & Pinks

   Pretty and girly the greens and pinks look so cute and add a touch of
   glamour.  I predict these jewel colours will be the perfect antidote to a
   dull winter day and could be just the thing to lift your spirits.

New Colours

   I love the new colours that are going to be a hit this season: grape,
   burgundy and midnight blue.  Something for everyone and so grown up too!
   Ditch the black as we all have plenty of that gathered up in our wardrobes
   from seasons past, add your colour to spice up something black if you must
   but make sure you embrace the new colours and use anything in your wardrobe
   that you got from summer too it's all about a bit of recycling.

Colour Trends Autumn/Winter

There is no right or wrong colour to wear as long as it suits you and is flattering thus making you look your best.  However, personal preferences aside there is a definite nod to certain colours for this season and we are taking a closer look to make sure you get it right and are not left out in the cold.

• Black is a true classic and a staple of many wardrobes (mine included) it will never go out of fashion.  Black as a colour is usually very flattering but if your skin tone doesn't allow you to wear it because it's just too harsh then think about adding some grey into your clothes and accessories.  Grey is usually that bit softer and can always be added as an accessory.  To add glamour and sofistication why not carry a grey handbag to work and then you can dress it down after for a more casual look.
• Camel is a colour that is absolutely massive this season and looks divine in winter coats, knitwear and fashion accessories like a great classic bag.  For tailored suits and formal wear camel is a colour that just adds a touch of class and usually manages to look expensive!  If you are not brave enough to wear camel through your wardrobe then accessorise with it and you can still stay on trend this winter.  Camel handbags.

We are pleased to say is going to continue to be a strong fashion trend so make sure you don't pack away your animal print bags and purses just yet.  Using animal print accessories is a great way to wear the trend without overdoing it or looking like Bet Lynch from Coronation Street - remember less is more!
